Teledentistry Services in Ohio
Oral Health Ohio is advocating for changes to the teledentistry section of the Ohio Dental Practice Act related to the training requirements for dental hygienists and expanded function dental assistants in relation to the application of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) and Interim Therapeutic Restoration (ITR).
These changes are crucial to ensure the accessibility and efficiency of teledentistry services in Ohio.
The letter is currently under consideration by the OSDB Education committee.
